Melbourne HarborMelbourne Harbor is conveniently located just south of the Melbourne Causeway, at Channel Marker 6 on the Intracoastal Waterway and the Indian River Lagoon. We're 16 miles north of the Sebastian Inlet and 22 miles south of the Canaveral Inlet. The Harbor and Marina are just across the street from Melbourne's Historic Downtown District, with easy access to shopping, banking, groceries, antique and gift shops, hotels, and bed and breakfast inns. Also, we're bordered by three city parks, including the Crane Creek Manatee Observation Area. From the Harbor, you're within 10 blocks of more than 20 restaurants, ranging from casual to family-style to formal. We also feature two restaurants on-site: Ichabod's Dockside Bar and Grill, a great place to enjoy a sandwich and a drink; and The Chart House Restaurant, Melbourne's premier fine-dining establishment, famous for its seafood, steaks and prime rib. (We offer special discounts to transient vessels for dinner at the Chart House!)

trust you can have in owners
This marine looks OK on the out side. Do not trust the people running it. the term " Used Car Salesman" says it all. Watch you back in dealing with them.

    Great Spot
What a great marina! They put me in contact with Eau Gallie Boat Works when we experienced sudden electrical failure. The owner, an Irish guy, came down with a technician and together they fixed the problem with our invertor. Fair price and great service.

Great place / lousy Harbor Master
Ichabod's Dockside restaurant / bar is a great place, fantastic food, friendly staff. The marina is a nice facility with good floating docks and decent restrooms. Right in downtown, tons of stuff within walking distance. The down side, the harbormaster is a crotchety old drunk who spends most of his time bellied up to the bar. He makes it obvious that he doesn't care for sailors, and even seems quite indifferent to power boaters. This should be a very pleasant and enjoyable place to visit, except that the aforementioned harbor master make's you feel like an un-welcome intruder.
