| | Just South of the Rickenbacker Causeway, at Statute Mile 1095 on the Atlantic ICW, lies Florida's largest marine facility, Dinner Key Marina. This modern marina's 582 protected slips comfortably accommodate transient, seasonal, and permanent live-aboard guests accommodating vessels up to 175' and offering amenities such as cable TV and telephone (with prior notice), shower/laundry facilities, and pump out service.
Dinner Key originally served as base of operations for Pan Am's flying boats, the Clippers and plenty of history has been retained in the area. Nearby is Villa Vizcaya, former home of International Harvester founder James Deering and now a public museum. Also a very short distance away is the internationally renowned CocoWalk, Coconut Grove's retail and entertainment district. Public transportation is convenient and close by, as are a variety of other stores and shops. Whether you are visiting for a day or a year, Dinner Key Marina's courteous staff will make sure your stay is enjoyable. |
